Hey, look who’s in Project X Zone 2 now!

Fiora from Xenoblade paired up with KOS-MOS from Xenosaga, and Chrom and Lucina from Fire Emblem: Awakening. I’m glad to be wrong about the unlikelihood of Nintendo characters, and Lucina was even one of the specific ones I said I’d want. Still not completely sure if it’s a full four-company crossover with Nintendo getting as many characters as the other three, but considering Fire Emblem has nothing to do with Monolith, it seems possible.

Not that anyone was surprised by any of them, but I did call the return of KOS-MOS, Demitri, Morrigan, and Chun-Li.

One character I didn’t predict, though, was Segata Sanshiro. Who might just be the most badass character in the entire game.

According to Siliconera, Project X Zone 2 will release in Japan on November 12, 2015, North America on February 16, and Europe on February 19, 20156 for Nintendo 3DS. (But I’m pretty sure that’s a typo and people in Europe don’t have to wait an extra 18,000 years.)

Here are videos featuring the main songs from Sakura Wars 3:
